Community tourism piloted in Luc Ngan

(BGO) – To promote the advantage of the fruit cultivating area, Luc Ngan district in Bac Giang province has selected Hoa Quang hamlet in Tan Moc commune and Gianh Moi hamlet in Quy Son commune to invest and support in piloting the community tourism model in the key fruit region, including citrus and lychee trees. 

Accordingly, from now on till 2025, the district People’s Committee plans to invest about 17.2 billion VND (over 741,600 USD) to Giang Moi hamlet to construct the product exhibition building, cultural house, sub-facilities; buy the equipment for exhibition and build the road from the T-junction of Gianh Cu to the lake in Thum village.

Besides, Hoa Quang hamlet is expected to receive an investment of 14.9 billion VND (over 642,500 USD) to construct the product exhibition building, cultural house, public toilets, hamlet inter road from Hoa Quang to Dong Quyt and supporting facilities (concrete yard, outdoor stage, shade…) as well as buy the equipment for exhibition.

As scheduled, the district People’s Committee will balance the budget to distribute over 1.4 billion VND (60,300 USD) to Gianh Moi hamlet and 1.26 billion VND (over 54,000 USD) to Hoa Quang hamlet to build the product exhibition buildings and the cultural house in the hamlet for the period of 2019 – 2020.

Tay Yen Tu tourism complex attracts nearly 40,000 arrivals in Culture-Tourism Week
(BGO) – According to the Management Board of Tay Yen Tu spiritual –ecological tourism complex, the destination welcomed 39,000 tourist arrivals in the Bac Giang provincial Culture-Tourism Week 2019 (taking place from February 14 - 20), 80 percent of which used the cable car to visit Thuong (Upper) pagoda or Linh Thong Thien Tu.

Tay Yen Tu - Prospects for regional tourism connectivity

Piloting smart travel app “Bac Giang Tourism”
(BGO) – The smart travel application “Bac Giang Tourism” has been put in trial running by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the northern province of Bac Giang since early February.
