It contributed to fostering high-quality human resources, meeting increasing demand of semiconductor industry.
The training programme is included in the signed cooperation program between the two institutions on developing human resources in microchips and semiconductors.
Korea Polytechnics University specializes in training cutting-edge technologies in the Republic of Korea.
The university is currently cooperating with 68 universities and over 3,000 enterprises in various countries and territories worldwide to train and supply human resources in engineering and technical fields.
After the training course, VKTech will connect to arrange internships and practical training for students in semiconductor and microchip manufacturing enterprises, helping them enhance their knowledge and earn more income to support their studies.
Microchip and semiconductor engineering sectors are currently facing a labor shortage in Vietnam, especially in industrial parks in northern province of Bac Giang.
Vietnam has become a destination for several major global companies operating in the semiconductor manufacturing sector such as Intel, Samsung, and Amkor.
It is estimated that enterprises in Bac Giang province will need approximately 2,500 workers in electronic microchip and semiconductor industries in 2025.
