Themed “Bac Giang youth acts for the community”, the volunteering programme will last to February 15, 2019, that focuses on three major contents of cozy winter – affectionate spring, friends of the farmers and community healthcare.

The youth facilities in the province strive to present 1,500 winter blankets; 5,000 gift packages on Lunar New Years to the disadvantaged households and impoverished youngsters; 500 bus tickets to the students to return the hometown on Tet holiday; 1,500 blood units as well as provide free health examination to 5,000 local resident, youths and teenagers living in difficult circumstances .

On the occasion, the HCMCYU, the YFs in the province and Yen The district, the provincial Business Association, Tam Tam Yoga Club and Binh An Yoga Club gifted a humanitarian house, 15 warm blankets, 15 bicycles and 15 gift sets to the policy beneficial families and difficult students in the district.

Warm blankets are presented to needy people in Hiep Hoa district.

Right after the launching ceremony, the youth members joined hand to level and concrete the yard for the community house in Xuan Luong commune while providing free health checkups and advice to 200 elder persons; eye caring recommendation to more than 300 students and haircut at the primary school in Xuan Luong commune among others. These activities were executed with a total expense of about 100 million VND (over 4,200 USD) donated by the youth members, kind-hearted individuals and enterprises.

At the same day, several activities were held by many youth facilities and associations in the province in response to the programme of “ Winter Volunteer 2018 and Spring Volunteer 2019”, including cleaning up the environment, growing the youth flower road and presenting gifts to the needy cases. The volunteering event has shown the youth’s enthusiasm in activities for the community.

Temple inaugurated in commemoration of Dong Loc volunteers
