150 people returning from Australia put in medical isolation in Bac Giang
According to the provincial Military Command, the Vietnamese citizens returning from Australia include minors under the age of 18, elderly, workers with expired visas and contracts, students with no accommodation following the closure of their dormitories and other cases facing special difficulties.

These people are put in concentrated medical isolation at Bac Giang’s Center of National Defense and Security Education managed by Regiment 831 (Military Command in Bac Giang province).
After reception, the functional force sterilized the area, checked citizens’ temperature, provided facemasks, hand sanitizer and personal stuff, guided Covid-19 preventive methods and arranged accommodation for isolated people.
During the quarantine period, all of these citizens will be provided regular health supervision such as checking temperature twice per day and testing for Covid-19 twice before finishing 14-day isolation. Besides, they will be taken care by the soldiers and doctors to ensure health and living conditions.
Since the Covid-19 outbreak, the units under the provincial Military Command have received and managed nearly 3,000 Vietnamese citizens and foreigners undergoing medical isolation safely conforming to regulations.
