Bac Giang establishes more isolation areas for epidemic fight
Ravatel Inn Hotel belongs to Sun Grand Tourism Joint Stock Company located at No 1, Hung Vuong Road, Le Loi Ward, Bac Giang city. The requisition will be carried out in 2 stages. The 1st stage from 20 to 31 March will use 67 rooms and the second stage from 1 April will use the whole hotel with 159 rooms.

The provincial Department of Health, Bac Giang municipal People’s Committee and Department of Foreign Affairs will collaborate with Sun Grand Tourism Joint Stock Company to direct the hotel to prepare facilities, equipment and materials ready for operation when receiving quarantined people, strictly follow check-in and check-out procedures and impose medical supervision and monitoring on quarantined people in accordance with regulations of the Ministry of Health.

According to the provincial Center for Disease Control, Bac Giang province has had 67 suspected cases for Covid-19 by 18 March. In which, 50 people were tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 and excluded, 10 people were negative but continuously isolated for supervision and 7 other cases are in quarantine pending test results. As of 5pm on March 18, 243 people including 161 Vietnamese people and 82 foreigners are put in concentrated quarantine in 2 isolation areas of the province. The quarantined people are now in normal health condition. |
On the same day, Director of the provincial Department of Health of Bac Giang province decided to assigned Oncology Hospital establishing medical teams with at least 1 doctor, 1 nurse and 1 emergency vehicle to ensure medical conditions at the concentrated isolation area of 831 Regiment.
Previously, the provincial People’s Committee of Bac Giang province on 17 March decided to establish the medical isolation area in the provincial General Hospital. The medical isolation area is obliged to receive, supervise and care for quarantined people as regulations.
This place will be provided medical staff, security force and interpreters (for English, Chinese, Korean and Japanese) and necessary medical facilities to care and cure quarantined people while ensuring normal living and security for the medical staff and isolated people
On 17 March, the provincial Department of Health provided the list of 16 recommended isolation areas for epidemic prevention and control in 8 districts and city to submit the provincial People’s Committee for approval after collaborating with the provincial Military Command and the districts to survey and select.

Particularly, there are 3 areas in Luc Ngan district, 1 area in Luc Nam district, 1 area in Bac Giang city, 3 areas in Viet Yen district, 1 area in Yen The district, 2 areas in Hiep Hoa district, 1 area in Yen Dung district and 3 areas in Lang Giang district. These isolation areas can serve 2,572 people.
Due to complicated developments of Covid-19, Tay Yen Tu Service Joint Stock Company has recently announced to temporarily suspend receiving tourists to Tay Yen Tu spiritual and ecological Tourism Complex in Son Dong district from 17 March for epidemic prevention and ensuring safety of tourists and local people. They will re-open depending on the epidemic situation and announce people and tourists.
