Bac Giang well prepares conditions to receive citizens returning from Covid-19 affected area
The event was attended by Major General Le Anh Tuan, Vice Commander, Head of the Steering Board in the Military Zone 1 and Vice Chairman of the Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Le Anh Duong, Vice Head of the provincial Steering Board.

The report from the provincial Steering Board showed that as of March 9 the province recorded no Covid-19 patient while 102 people were isolated within 14 days at the concentrated areas.
The hospitals, medical centers and military units prepared nearly 2,000 patient beds and resting areas for the infected patient, suspected and isolated cases. The preventive and control measures were strictly implemented under the motto of 4 local.
Addressing the event, PPC Vice Chairman Le Anh Duong pressed that thanks to the serious coordination among the organizations and units in creating the measures closed to the disease development, Bac Giang province now prevents the epidemic outbreak.

The provincial leader proposed the Military Zone 1 Command to provide essential support to the province in case of Covid-19 outbreak while urging the departments, sectors and agencies to actively share the information and further collaborate with the military forces in the locality to well control and prepare the facilities to receive the citizens returning home from the affected areas as well as absolutely prevent the cross infection.
After actual inspection at the concentrated isolation areas in the provincial Center of Farmers’ Vocational Training and Support, the National Defence and Security Education Center, Regimen 831, Major General Le Anh Tuan highly appreciated the disease prevention and control in Bac Giang province.

He requested the provincial Military Command to actively consult and coordinate with the organizations, agencies and localities to further prepare the facilities and equipment to readily receive and isolate the citizens coming back hometown in the upcoming time.
