A family in Bac Giang presents large number of medical materials for Covid-19 fight

(BGO) - Chu Bao Que’s family in Cau village, Tu Lan commune, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province on 15 March presented a number of medical tools and materials serving Covid-19 fight. 

The family’s representative gave 20,000 face masks, 2,800 raincoats, 2,000 medical gloves, 1000 bottles of sanitizer, 10 temperature gauges and 200 boxes of mineral water.

Speaking the event, Nguyen Dai Luong, Vice Chairman of the district People’s Committee highly appreciated the good deed of Chu Bao Que’s family. He hoped to receive more attention and support from individual and organizations for the district in Covid-19 prevention and control.

The district assigned the Division of Health to collaborate with the Medical Center to make proper allocation plan of the above -mentioned facilities in which giving priority to quarantine, agencies, schools and public places such as one-stop shops and public service centers.

At this event, the district Vice Chairman Nguyen Dai Luong provided some information on Covid-19 prevention and control in Viet Yen district. Although the locality has not confirmed any infected case, it faces high risk of infection due to a large number of foreigners working in living there. Besides, the district has more than 1,300 people working abroad. Hence, fighting against the epidemic has been paid due attention.

• Previously, the People’s Committee and Trade Union of Tu Lan commune, Viet Yen district organized a ceremony to give the medical facilities presented by Chu Bao Que’s family.

The gift packages including 10,000 face masks, 7 temperature gauges, 48 bottles of hand sanitizers, 1,000 gloves, 2,000 packages of wet towel and 350 raincoats were presented to Tu Lan commune to provide local people for Covid-19 prevention.

The communal people’s committee provided the products to representatives of the villages, schools and medical stations in the locality. According to representative of Tu Lan commune, Chu Bao Que’s family is an outstanding example making many contributions to building new style rural area, humanitarian and community activities.
