These above athletes will join training courses to compete in international events from now on till the end of 2020.

Athlete Nguyen Thi Dao (right) will compete the world shuttlecock kicking championship to be held in late August 2019.

Particularly, Nguyen Thi Oanh (track and field) and Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy (wushu) focus on preparing for Sea Games 30 to be held at the end of 2019. Nguyen Thi Dao (shuttlecock kicking) will train together with other teammates to practise for the international championship at the end of August 2019.

Other faces like Vo Thi Kim Phung and Nguyen Thi Mai Hung (chess) are preparing for regional events while Son Tien Phat (track and field), Than Van Anh and Pham Quoc Khanh (badminton) as well as Nguyen Thi Suoi Phan (boxing) are training to compete at the regional youth tournaments in South Eastern Asia and Asia.

Vo Thi Kim Phung (chess) continues to be a member of national chess team.

According to the leader of provincial Center of Sports Training and Competition, the participation to the teams and national youth teams provide the athletes with chance to vie for international achievements, improve the professional qualification, gain experience and practise the skill to serve the provincial sports sector.
