Bac Giang athletes win gold at National Youth Badminton Tournament

(BGO) – The National Youth Badminton Tournament 2019 was organized in Dak Lak province from June 9-16, luring nearly 140 youth players from 21 provinces, cities and sectors across the nation.

The event featured several categories of men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, mixed doubles and mixed team

Than Van Anh and Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan win gold medal at the category of women’s doubles.

Bac Giang delegation participated in the tournament with 6 men and 6 women athletes competing in all contents. Thanks to the populous forces with good profession and preparation, the athletes from the northern province of Bac Giang showed excellent manner to bag 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals.

The gold winner was Than Van Anh and Ngoc Thi Ngoc Lan in women’s doubles. Besides, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan earned a silver medal at women’s singles event. The other silver was bagged at the mix doubles.
