Bac Giang pockets 5 medals at national badminton, table tennis tournament for families

(BGO) - The 2018 National Badminton, Table Tennis Tournament for Families was held in Tay Ninh province from August 4-9, attracting nearly 350 athletes from 28 provinces and cities nationwide.

The atheletes vyed for medals in table tennis and badminton, with the categories of couple, mother and son, mother and daughter, father and son, father and daughter.

13 members of Bac Giang team competed in the tournament and bagged 3 silvers and 2 bronzes. The silver winners were couples of Do Van Chao - Ong Thi Bich (the age group of 46 – 55) in badminton event; couple Duong Van Hien - Vu Thi Thanh Ha in table tennis (age group under 35) and Duong Van Hien - Duong Van Dong in table tennis (father and son).
