198 billion disbursed as loan for salaries in suspension and production recovery periods

(BGO) – According to the Bac Giang branch of Social Policy Bank, the bank has disbursed more than 198 billion VND (8.69 million USD) to 62 employers as a loan for enterprises to pay for the workers’salary in production recovery due to operation suspension period due to Covid-19 pandemic.

The programme is in line with Government’s Resolution No.68 on July 1, 2021 and PM’s Decision No.23 on July 7, 2021 about implementing some policies to support employers and employees affected by the pandemic.

More than 58,000 turns of labours in these companies have benefited from the loan capital. Accordingly, the employers can make a loan in maximum period of 11 months with no interest.

Several businesses were offered big loans, mostly in Viet Yen, Lang Giang and Luc Nam districts, typically Ha Bac Garment Export Joint Stock Company in Viet Yen (16 billion VND), Bac Giang LGG Garment Coporation Joint Stock Company in Lang Giang (about 26 billion VND)...

So far, Bac Giang has been top leading provinces across the nation in term of disbursement result per Resolution No.68.
