World Bank to support 600 Vietnamese SMEs in digital transformation

The World Bank has launched a programme to support 600 Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to apply technological solutions to enhance their productivity and competitiveness.

Such enterprises will be given free training on using copyrighted software and organising their resources.

In addition to providing knowledge on digital transformation, the World Bank will also provide financial assistance for SMEs to employ technology for sales and customer management, personnel management and internal communication.

The programme is expected to help Vietnamese SMEs increase their productivity and competitiveness.

Under the programme, the World Bank and its partners will focus on several areas, one of which is assessing the health of enterprises to identify issues decreasing their productivity and competitiveness.

The programme was launched in partnership with Real-Time Analytics (RTA), which will provide two digital transformation assistance packages for the SMEs under its remit.

RTA is a developer of solutions to assist in corporate management, market research, socio-economic surveying, paperless operation and automated administration.

Bringing artwork into digital space
In order to meet the increasingly diverse needs of the public and contribute to exploiting the potential of various art forms, a group of artists, cultural experts and technology engineers have collaborated to implement the project "Sky Gate" which provides a platform to confirm and transfer the digital ownership of artwork. After the launch ceremonies in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, the project received the attention and cooperation of many artists and art lovers.
