Digital Covid-19 epidemiological map system handed over to Bac Giang
Covidmaps uses digital map technology to digitize useful information such as areas under lockdown and medical quarantine; lists and information related to each patient (address, travel history); concentrated quarantine sites; addresses of hospitals and medical stations, thus helping people, pandemic prevention and control units, and managers update information on the disease in the fastest, most regular and smooth way.

At the handover ceremony, Pham Van Dao, Chairman of the Sao Mai Trading and Finance Joint Stock Company, said that with its social responsibility, the company has developed Covidmaps with the desire to propose solutions supporting localities in effectively implementing epidemic prevention and combat, contributing to stabilizing socio-economic development.
Funding all the handover and operation of the system, the company wishes Bac Giang province to effectively use Covidmaps, step by step repelling Covid-19.
Speaking at the event, Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Mai Son emphasized that during the fourth wave of Covid-19, Bac Giang province has became a hotspot with many complicated developments. The province has recorded 47 cases, including 43 infections in enterprises based in industrial zones.

Facing this fact, Covidmaps plays an important role in assisting the Party committees, authorities and people in the province to quickly update information, direct and organize the effective implementation of pandemic prevention and control measures.
Thanking the company for its assistance, he said after the handover ceremony, the provincial People's Committee will direct the Department of Health and the Department of Information and Communications to provide full information and data, and coordinate closely with the designer to update and complete Covidmaps of Bac Giang province, ensuring the handover of the system to local units in less than 60 days.
