39 first Covid-19 patients in Bac Giang discharged from hospitals

(BGO) – 39 first Covid-19 patients in Bac Giang province on May 31 were released from the provincial Field Hospital No 1 and Rehabilitation Hospital. 

Specialist level 2 Doctor Hoang Xuan Thuc, Director of the Field Hospital No 1 said the health condition of these cases got better gradually during treatment period. Now, they are in stable health without any symptoms of fever, cough, breath difficulties while the results of lung X-ray and functional tests of livers and lung are within normal range. Also, the people tested negative to SARS-CoV-2 twice.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Mai Son hands over the certificate of hospital discharge to the cases.

These patients recovered after 20 to 22 days of treatment. They are workers and their relatives in some businesses, mostly in Van Trung industrial park (Viet Yen district).

After being discharged from hospitals, the patients (including people living in other provinces) were sent to reside at the districts of Luc Nam, Viet Yen, Lang Giang, Yen Dung and Luc Nam and follow home isolation for 14 days as regulation (check body temperature twice per day, test for Covid-19 twice in the 7th and 14th day).

Covid-19 patients are released from the Field Hospital No.1

Now, the Field Hospital No.1 is curing 194 patients contracted to the disease, including 17 children, 7 pregnant women, oldest person of 72 years old. Many cases get stable health condition and are expected to be released from hospital in upcoming days.
