Accordingly, 8 more products were rated four star, including Xuan Truong five color noodle and Chu rice noodle in Nam Duong commune (Luc Ngan district); chicken paste of Yen The Green Agriculture Cooperative; dried flower of Danh mountain ginseng of Lien Chung Danh Mountain Ginseng Production And Consumption Cooperative in Tan Yen district; Binh Minh herbal pork paste, herbal pork baloney, herbal pork sausage of Binh Minh Organic Agriculture Cooperative in Danh Thang commune, Hiep Hoa district) and Luc Ngan lychee of Hong Xuan Agriculture and General Service Trading Cooperative which is potential to be five star product.

Besides, the PPC also recognized 22 three-star OCOP products.

The recognized products will be granted with OCOP Certificate with 36 month validity by the and allowed to use OCOP symbol and star rating on the product package and rewarded as regulation.

The PPC assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to consult on organizing event to announce and hand over the OCOP Certificate and cooperate with the Department of Industry and Trade to instruct the People’s Committee in the districts and city and producers to use and print the OCOP symbol and rating on products as regulation while collaborating to launch random and regular inspection to handle any violation.

The business, cooperative, working groups and producing households with recognized products are responsible for keeping the product quality as OCOP regulation, futher standardizing the recognized product toward higher rating.

Bac Giang creates breakthroughs in development of OCOP products

(BGO) – To enhance quality and value of farm produce in associated with developing products under One Commune One Product programme (OCOP), the Standing Committee of the Party Committee in Bac Giang province (PPC) assigned the provincial Farmers’ Association (PFA) to implement the project “The PFA at all levels play core role in agriculture production  toward cooperation, linkage in value chain and improvement of OCOP products in 2022 – 2025 period” (Project) in early 2022.

(BGO) - In the first round of OCOP product evaluation and classification in 2022, the Ven village eco-cultural tourism product of Than Truong Cooperative in Yen The district, Bac Giang province was rated three stars, becoming the first community-based tourism product with star rating. This information not only brings joy to cooperative members but also opens up opportunities to increase income for locals.

(BGO) – The People’s Committee in Bac Giang province has issued Decision to approve for the assessment, classification and grant Certificate of One Commune One Product (OCOP) Programme in Bac Giang province in first period 2022.  

Bac Giang aims to further develop, upgrade OCOP products

The northern province of Bac Giang plans to invest more in developing and upgrading its products recognised by the “One Commune-One Product” (OCOP) programme, aiming to lifting up the rankings of 95 products which had been certified as three and four-star-products in the 2019-2020 period by 2030.
