The semi-finals of the tournament will be held on February 24.

Indonesia beat host Cambodia 2-0 in the last round of matches of Group B on February 22, with goals scored in the 19th and 83rd minutes. As Malaysia defeated Myanmar 1-0 in the concurrent match, Indonesia won the final spot to the semi-finals with a total of five points.

Vietnam will face Indonesia in the semi-finals of the ongoing ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U22 Youth Championship.

Previously, aside from Cambodia which had already secured the group’s top position, the remaining teams vied for a berth in the semi-finals. Indonesia had two points, while Malaysia and Myanmar earned just one point each.

In Group A, Vietnam ranked first after a goalless draw with Thailand on February 21.

Both of the teams had booked their spots in the semi-finals of the regional competition by winning against the Philippines and Timor-Leste.

Thailand will play Cambodia, who tops Group B, in the round.
