According to statistics from the the Employment Service Center of Bac Giang province, the electronic component manufaturing factories lead the recruitment demand such as Foxconn Technology Group (Foxconn), New Wing Interconnect Technology, Luxshare- ICT...with 3,000-5,000 workers for each.

Unskilled workers account for more than half of the province's recruitment needs, but the skilled or trained labor accounts for an increasing proportion, up to 40%.

Foxconn - Apple's component supplier – wants to employ 5,000 unskilled workers and more than 300 high-quality personnel to hold management positions, electronics majors, defect analyzer, RE engineer, IT software who must be fluent in Chinese and good communication in English. Salaries for these positions are not specifically announced but are agreed upon interview.

Some other factories recruit team leaders and warehouse workers who are required to know Chinese and have experience in the electronics field. To attract candidates, businesses offer benefits such as "every Saturday afternoon off, opportunities to study and work abroad".

Bac Giang province currently has more than 8,000 workers working in semiconductor enterprises, most of whom are 18-35 years old. Professional personnel at middle holding management level only account for over 23%, the rest are at lower levels. This year, the province needs nearly 2,000 more workers in the semiconductor industry and about 6,000 by 2030.

The province currently has more than 7,600 operating businesses, attracting 306,000 workers, 80 % of whom are from local area and 20% come from other localities.

Bac Giang creates jobs for approx. 14,600 workers

BAC GIANG- According to the statistics by the provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, nearly 14,600 labourers in the entire province have been provided jobs in the first 5 months 2024, accounting for 44.8 percent of the annual plan, up 5.9 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
