Arranging accommodation for nearly 18,400 workers

(BGO) – Since June 21, the Industrial Park Management Board (IPMB) in Bac Giang province has coordinated with the districts and city to make a list of boarding houses, motels, hotels and functional transformation schools to introduce to enterprises for their rental purpose.  

Initially, Viet Yen, Yen Dung, Tan Yen, Lang Giang, Luc Nam districts and Bac Giang city reviewed the motels, hotels and boarding houses to serve the accommodation demand for nearly 18,400 workers at the businesses.

According to the provincial programme, the companies sign contract with the owners of the facilities to rent the houses for labourers so as to ensure the principle of “a concentrated accommodation is only arranged for labourers of a business” from July 1.

If a company rents a school as the workers’ accommodation place from July 1 to August 31, the facility must be cleaned up to ensure the safe condition before moving the labourers to the boarding places.
