Covering 3.2 hectares, the project got approval to build ten 20-storey buildings to meet the housing demand for 12,000 workers. So far, the investor has constructed 5 out of 10 buildings.

The project’s progress is accelerated.

There are 500 workers together with machines and equipment for day and night construction so the project ensures good schedule.

For the remaining buildings, the investor has proposed to license for construction and submitted 107 documents registering to buy social house of the project to the Department of Construction for approval.

To speed up the project, the Department of Construction expedited the investor to promptly proceed procedure about environment, fire prevention and fighting as well as construction while suggesting the People’s Committee in the districts and city to cooperate in defining the cases to buy and hire social house so as to create utmost favorable condition for qualified workers.

At least 1 million housing units for low-income earners to be built by 2030

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has asked the Ministry of Construction to work together with other ministries and agencies to draft and submit a plan on building at least 1 million apartments of social housing for workers and low-income earners by 2030 to the Government in August.

Bac Giang removes obstacles, puts social housing projects in use

(BGO) – The industry has strongly developed in the northern province of Bac Giang for recent years leading to sharp increase of housing demand for labours. To handle this issue, the province has approved and implemented many social housing projects for workers (SHP) to raise the local investment attraction. The implementation proved initial positive results together with some obstacles.

Nearly 1.27 million workers receive housing benefits

Nearly 1.27 million workers have received housing rent allowances worth a total of 876 billion VND (37.4 million USD) as of August 15, according to the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA).

99 percent of labours with approved decision receive housing rent support

(BGO) - Implementing Decision No.08/2022/QD-TTg on March 28 of Prime Minister about implementing housing rent support for labours (Decision 08), so far Bac Giang city and three districts of Viet Yen, Yen Dung and Hiep Hoa have received proposals from 596 turns of businesses to support more than 171,200 turns of labours with total amount of nearly 88 billion VND (3.76 million USD).
