The project focuses on building 3 components: developing urban traffic network (constructing extended Tran Quang Khai street in Bac Giang city, overpass crossing Thuong river, North East belt road); improving water drainage condition and environment sanitation; providing technical support and managing capability enhancement.

The abutment of overpass crossing Thuong river is under construction.

To date, 60 percent of the K95 embankment volume has been done for the construction package of Tran Quang Khai street. The bored cast in situ piles have been completed and ready to be concreted for the column of the bridge crossing Thuong river.

The construction of North East belt road is basically completed with nearly 100 percent of contract value. Other supporting items are under further completion including lighting system, road marking, traffic signs…

The project is expected to be completed in 2020.

Hanoi to begin construction of two new ring roads
