At the event, Binh Phuoc PPC Vice Chairman Huynh Anh Minh said the province encounters a lots of difficulties though it is located at key economic of Southern area. Since 2000, some industrial parks have been established in the province but they have attracted investors and developed recently.

Binh Phuoc defined industrial development as driving force for socio-economic growth. To realize the target, the working delegation hoped Bac Giang province to exchange and share experiences in developing industry, human resources, social and worker housing construction.

As the plan, Bac Giang province has 29 industrial parks (IP). Now, the investment policy of eight IP were approved by PM, five of which enter operational stage with occupancy rate of over 70 percent. About 883 ha of industrial land have been leased to implement 422 projects, including 316 foreign direct investment (FDI) ones with total registered capital of over 6.7 billion USD and 14.2 trillion VND (over 620 million USD).

Bac Giang PPC Vice Chairman Phan The Tuan informed that basing on the Resolution of the provincial Party Committee’s Executive Board about industrial development in the period 2021 – 2030, the PPC issued the plan to execute industrial park and cluster projects.

Regarding human resource development, Bac Giang established Steering Board for Vocational Education and Job Creation at provincial and district levels; issued Management Coordination Principle for foreign labours as well as plan to prevent and handle collective work stoppage.

The Bac Giang provincial leader told about the timely adjustment and supplement of social and worker housing construction plan, land use plan basing on the construction planning and development programme so as to ensure the necessary conditions for investment attraction and project implementation on schedule.

To support investors, Bac Giang continues completing policies on land clearance compensation, impose at most preferential policies in land field with priority taken to planning of social and worker housing projects at convenient locations to lure investors.

The province has paid due attention to technical infrastructure, project boundary while assisting the investors to access to bank credit capital, investment fund as well as incentive policies for project executors.

Industrial production value makes 31 percent year on year increase

(BGO) – The (actual) industrial production value (IPV) in February is estimated at 27,560 billion VND (1.2 billion USD) in Bac Giang province, up 35 percent year on year. In accumulation, the IPV hit over 60.8 trillion VND in the first two months, up 31.1 percent against the same period last year, reported the provincial Department of Industry and Trade.
