The delegates workedon improving the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI), Public Administration Reform Index (PAR INDEX), Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) and Satisfaction Index of Public Administrative Services (SIPAS).Speaking at the meeting, Bac Giang PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong said that although Bac Giang has achieved positive results, there are still some limitations that need to be overcome.

In the process of implementing tasks, the province draws lessons from experience. In direction and management, institutional content must be well done in a transparent and clear direction together with decentralization and authorization to promote proactiveness and enhance responsibility for performing tasks of agencies and localities.

The province prioritizes worthy investment resources to modern and synchronous infrastructure. In the field of environmental resources, Bac Giang focuses on completing the land database; announcing transparent planning information to public; boosting to digitalize records and results of administrative procedures.

In addition, the province pays due attention to selecting and training staff, especially the team that directly receives and processes administrative procedures so as to improve the efficiency.

Hau Giang PPC Chairman Dong Van Thanh congratulated Bac Giang province for outstanding results in socio-economic development, administrative reform, improved competitiveness and people's satisfaction with the services of state administrative agencies.

He thanked the province for sharing on measures to improve the indicators. Through the meeting, Hau Giang can learn several experiences from Bac Giang province such as high determination of the staff and civil servants, the role of the leader in carrying out tasks, due attention to developing provincial policies and mechanisms to implement tasks among others.

Hau Giang provincial leader emphasized that Bac Giang province has many dynamic, creative ways as well as several effective models and initiatives in improving indicators.

From such shared experiences of Bac Giang province, Hau Giang province will research and apply to the local area so as to gradually improve the indicators. He hoped that the two provinces will further coordinate, share and collaborate in all fields.
