Bac Giang continues to lead localities nationwide with GRDP of 14.18%
BAC GIANG - On the morning of March 28, the Standing Committee of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee (PPC) held a meeting for the first quarter of 2024 with the secretaries of the party committees in the districts, township and city.
The event was co-chaired by Duong Van Thai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the PPC, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Le Thi Thu Hong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of PPC, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Anh Duong, Deputy Secretary of the PPC, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

In the first quarter, the PPC at all levels focused on leading and directing the socio-economic development to achieve good results. The province's gross regional domestic production (GRDP) in the first quarter reached 14.18%, continuing to lead the country. All service industries maintain stable operations.
At the meeting, delegates discussed and proposed solutions to solve difficult problems. Basic opinions were raised and clarified by leaders of the departments of Natural Resources and Environment, Home Affairs, Agriculture and Rural Development.
Concluding the conference, PPC Secretary Duong Van Thai recommended that in the coming time, all levels, sectors and localities, especially leaders of the grassroots units, provincial agencies, departments and branches, must closely follow the direction of the Central Committee and the PPC; continue to deploy and concretize key tasks in 2024.
All were urged to highly focus on developing production and business activities so as to boost the economic growth.

The provincial leader requested more attention paid to reforming the administration, improving the business investment environment while drastically deploying measures to increase budget revenue; strengthen financial discipline; strictly manage budget expenditures, especially investment expenditures.
In addition, the province should accelerate the site work for projects and disbursement of public investment capital.
The Secretary also requested to pay more attention to comprehensively develop the cultural and social fields, including effectively implement the motto "3 security" meaning security, welfare and safety.
