Bac Giang bags 8 golds at National Youth Freestyle and Classical Wrestling Championships

(BGO) – 18 youth wrestlers in Bac Giang
team performed impressively at the National Youth Freestyle and Classical
Wrestling Championships 2018 recently held at Thai Nguyen province.

The event drew the participation of over 200 athletes from 22 provinces, cities and sectors. Bac Giang’s wrestlers had competed excellently with three out of five victories in the final matches, thus totally grabbing 3 gold, 2 silver
The gold winners included Ngo Van Quoc in male’s 55 kg classical wrestling category, Tran Minh Duc in male’s 70kg freestyle wrestling item and Than Thi Anh in women’s 65 kg freestyle wrestling event.
It was considered the crucial achievement and preparation of Bac Giang’s wrestling for the eighth National Sports Festival 2018.
