Job opportunities for tens of thousands of laborers
The labor recruitment banners are hanging at the gates of many enterprises at some industrial parks and clusters as well as on classified ads in boarding houses and bus stations.

In the first quarter of 2024, Newwing Interconect Technology Bac Giang Company Limited in Van Trung Industrial Park (Viet Yen district) needs to recruit nearly 13,000 workers (the highest number in the province).
So, these days, the human resources department is working at full capacity. The company arranged a large sign announcing job vacancy to attract employees with many incentives.
Some businesses have strengthened linkage with the northern mountainous provinces to search for labor while cutting procedures and employment requirement with more benefit.
With the need to recruit 10,000 more workers in the first quarter, Luxshare - ICT Co., Ltd in Quang Chau Industrial Park (Viet Yen district) applied diverse methods such as organizing direct recruitment, participating in job transaction sessions, coordinating with employment service centers to popularize information about remuneration and job development opportunities for employees.
Besides, the business also organizes volunteer activities in particularly difficult areas such as Ha Giang, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Dien Bien and Lai Chau provinces. It not only contributes to ensuring social security but also expands the labor search market.
Apart from foreign-invested enterprises, some domestic garment enterprises also need to find human resources. Typically, Bac Giang Garment Corporation BGG Joint Stock Company in Bac Giang City needs to recruit 500 workers or Bac Giang Garment Corporation LGG (Lang Giang) wants to find 1,500 workers with many incentives.
Actively connecting supply and demand
According to the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA), the labor market in the last months of 2023 and early 2024 sees many improvements when textile and garment sector recovers while the electronic companies become stable again toward production expansion. Others are worried about work interruption after Lunar New Year holiday so they are looking for people to make up for the shortage.
According to the Provincial Employment Service Center (ESC), the ESC is currently entrusted by 25 enterprises in the province to recruit about 38,000 workers in the first quarter of 2024. Most of them are foreign-invested enterprises in the fields of garment, electronics and commercial services in Dinh Tram, Van Trung, Quang Chau Industrial Parks (Viet Yen).
To help businesses employ human resources, the DoLISA has coordinated with units, localities and enterprises to improve the efficiency of connecting labor supply and demand, helping businesses recruit workers, supporting laborers find a suitable job.
The provincial ESC collects and analyzes information to closely forecast the job market situation; promote the application of information technology in propaganda and job connection; open more direct and online, mobile job transaction sessions while popularizing on mass media and social networks for employees to know and participate in job transaction sessions.
To further facilitate businesses in labor recruitment, the DoLISA directed the provincial ESC to coordinate with specialized agencies in mountainous and highland districts inside and outside the province to open job transaction sessions immediately after the Lunar New Year holiday.
At the same time, the DoLISA has coordinated with the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board to regularly grasp and synthesize the recruitment needs of businesses, invite business representatives to participate in employment sessions to provide information to employees on recruitment and policies.
The provincial Association of Manpower Supply and Employment was urged to improve the effectiveness of coordination and connection between units to introduce and supply labor.
Regarding the highly skilled workforce for semiconductor component manufacturing units, the labor sector has joined hands with vocational training facilities inside and outside the province to welcome technical students; pay attention to innovating vocational training in an open direction with many models and methods to meet the learning needs of students and recruitment requirements of businesses.
