Bac Giang calls for humanity tissue and organ donation

(BGO) – To save the patients in need of tissue and organ transplantation, the Red Cross Society in the northern province of Bac Giang has launched the programmes calling for people to register to donate the human tissue and body part.

The humane deed helps bring the life to others and reduce the illegal organ trafficking.

The provincial Red Cross Society launched the activity at the districts, city, the grass roots chapters and clubs so as to communicate and call for the people, youth, volunteers to register to receive the card of tissue and organ donation.

The province now has about 35 donors registering to give their tissue and organ via all levels of the Red Cross Society, most of whom registered to donate the cornea.
