Bac Giang city: 22 projects awarded at Technical Science Contest for Secondary School in 2020 - 2021
According to the Organization Board, this year event drew many projects with practical topics such as “Solutions support secondary school students to use social network positively” of students in Tran Phu Secondary School; “Establishing reading culture in close connection with morality education for secondary school students” of students in Tan Tien Secondary School.

Besides, several projects used the available materials in nature or recycled materials for research then created new and highly applicable products, such as “Improved nail collector” from Tan My Secondary School; “Natural multifunctional hand wash for kitchen use” from Nguyen Khac Nhu Secondary School; “Creating bituminous surface from construction waste, plastic and nylon bag” and “Self operating elevator without using electric” from Le Quy Don Secondary School.
The contest consisted of two rounds. In the final, the Organization Board awarded 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes, 7 third prizes and 10 consolidation prizes to the prominent projects. The first prize winners were students in Le Quy Don Secondary School for two projects of “Creating bituminous surface from construction waste, plastic and nylon bag” and “Self operating elevator without using electric”.
Three most excellent projects were selected to join the provincial Technical Science Contest in 2020 – 2021 launched by the Department of Education and Training in December 2020, including “Creating bituminous surface from construction waste, plastic and nylon bag”; “Self operating elevator without using electric” from Le Quy Don Secondary School and “Preserving the folk cultural value on traditional craft village in Ngo Si Lien Secondary School” from students at Ngo Si Lien Secondary School.
For recent years, the scientific research has been regularly launched by the municipal Division of Education and Training as a widespread movement among the educational establishments which help students promote their creative ability, nurture the passion for scientific research.
Many projects, topics and scientific creative ideas have been widely applicable among the schools as well as won high prize at provincial and national contests.
