Setting up Zalo groups, holding timely dialogues to create consensus

The project to build a southwest main road from A Lu bridge to the end of Tan My commune has a total investment of 272 billion VND (11.9 million USD) from the city budget. 

The good implementation of land clearance work contributes to ensuring the progress of the project to upgrade and expand Than Nhan Trung street.

To carry out the work, the relevant units had to recover 16 hectares of land related to 505 households and one business in My Do ward and Tan My commune. Despite facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the competent units of the city, ward and commune have actively removed obstacles and basically completed the site clearance.

Secretary of the Tan My communal Party Committee Do Van Duc said that the commune has established a Zalo group including the city leader in charge of the project, officials and experts of the communal People's Committee and the Center for Land Fund and Industrial Cluster Development to coordinate in addressing the affairs. They hold weekly and monthly meetings to review, evaluate and discuss measures to remove difficulties and problems, and then report to the city People's Committee for timely solutions.

Also with creative ways, since 2021, Tan Tien commune has implemented 12 investment projects to build urban infrastructure with a total area of more than 64.5 hectares. The communal Party Committee and People's Committee established working groups to campaign for land clearance, including more than 30 members who came to each house to grasp the people's thoughts and aspirations, and satify their legitimate interests.

As a result, more than 41 hectares have been recovered so far (accounting for 30 percent of the city’s area for site clearance) involving more than 900 households and 540 graves. Some key projects of the province and city have completed or basically completed land clearance such as those to build the headquarters of the provincial Tax Department and the high-class urban and entertainment complex, contributing to speeding up the progress of the projects.

Striving to complete land clearance for 48 projects

Over the past time, although the site clearance has faced many difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, determining that this is an important stage for socio-economic and urban infrastructure development, Party committees at all levels in Bac Giang city has focused on directing the implementation of the work.

Leaders of the city Party Committee and relevant units hasten the site clearance progress to implement the southwest main road project.

The city People's Committee launched the emulation movement "90 days and nights" to prevent and control the Covid-19 pandemic and was determined to successfully implement the socio-economic development tasks and targets in 2021 with seven key tasks, including compensation for site clearance.

Last year, the city cleared a total land area of 120 hectares, involving nearly 3,800 households and relocating nearly 2,000 graves. There were no complicated lawsuits involving many people related to site clearance. It also completed land clearance for all 13 provincial projects in the locality.

Site clearance compensation for projects, especially large and key ones, continues to be the central task of the city this year with the goals of completely solving problems in the first 6 months of the year, completing land clearance for 48 transitional projects and expeditiously implementing 32 new public investment projects.

Dang Dinh Hoan, Chairman of the city People's Committee, said that committee has issued a land clearance plan in the city and assigned the subordinate departments and units to urgently organize biddings to select investors as a basis for implementing compensation for site clearance. It has worked to grasp the progress of the works and sum up difficulties and problems to propose the city authorities and higher levels for timely solutions; while coordinating in developing detailed land clearance compensation plan for each project.

The city will continue to mobilize the participation of the whole political system to do well the site clearance work, contributing to speeding up the progress of urban infrastructure construction projects to serve the people's life.
