The project stretches totally 18.25 km with the first end at Km0+00 passing national road No.37 at Viet Tien commune (Viet Yen district) and the other end at Km 18+251.15 crossing Nghia Hung – My Thai road in Duong Duc commune (Lang Giang district).

The route connects national road No.37 – 17 and provincial road No.292, passing Thuong Lan commune (Viet Yen district).

It was commenced in September 2021 with total cost of over 678.4 billion VND and scheduled to be open to traffic after 17 months.

The project consisted of 4 packages to renew the route in line with delta third level road standard, design velocity of 80 km per hour, road bed of 12m of asphalt concrete road; the bridges over Thuong river, Lai Nghien canal and canal in Nghia Trung commune (Viet Yen district). All items were completed after 15 months ahead of the planned progress.

The project completion and operation help create driving force for the socio-economic growth of localities, expand new developing space and connect Tan Yen, Viet Yen and Lang Giang districts to facilitate attraction of investor to industrial parks and clusters.
