Bac Giang conserves and develops 27 craft villages
Accordingly, the province targets to maintain, conserve and develop 27 existing craft villages; encourage to develop new ones; invest and support to focal points so as to restore, preserve the villages, especially those facing the risk of extinction.

The Plan aims to boost up application of science and technology into production, build product trademark, conduct trade promotion to expand market while promoting the role of skillful artisan.
By 2025, the province strives to have 60 percent of traditional craft villages and craft villages recognized as effective operation models; 22 products of craft villages to be granted with certificate under One Commune One Product programme (OCOP) while all craft villages and traditional craft villages will approve for environmental protection solution.
By 2030, the province plans to have about 70 percent of effective craft villages, 30 OCOP products, 45 percent of craft villages having product trademark protected.
Annually, basing on the registration demand, the People’s Committee in the districts and city sum up and build estimate of support expense for conserving and developing craft villages and handling environmental pollution in these location then send to the Department of Finance for verification and submit to the provincial People’s Committee for approval.
