Bac Giang develops bio-safety chicken breeding model

(BGO) – In 2019, the Agriculture Encouragement Center in Bac
Giang province cooperated with Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University to
execute the project to develop a bio-safety breeding model of color feather
chicken that links with product consumption in the Northern midland and mountainous
provinces.
Participating the project, the breeders will be supported 70 percent of the cost for variety, food and veterinary medicine as well as join the training courses held by Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University.

The member households must be located in the mountainous midland communes, have garden to breed the chicken with sufficient cage area to raise from 500 – 1,000 heads following the project regulation.
The project is executed in three years (2019 - 2021) with total scale of 86,000 chickens in the provinces of Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son and Phu Tho.

(BGO) - On 31 July, the provincial Red Cross Society collaborated with its senior agency to provide 6,000 chicks, chickens’ food and vaccines to 10 households at Huong Son and An Ha communes, Lang Giang district, Bac Giang province.

Conservation has coordinated with Thuy Phuong Livestock Research Center (Ministry
of Agriculture and Rural Development) to provide 3,500 parent chickens to 7
breeding households in Dong Son commune, Yen The district (Bac Giang province).

(BGO) – Though Yen The district is home to a huge herd of chicken with
protected trademark, the products’ fluctuating consumption still makes the
breeders worried. Currently, the Bac Giang provincial authority has joined hand
with the locals to deploy the solutions, in which, pay attention to linkage and output stabilization.
