Bac Giang ensures labour safety and hygiene in business

(BGO) – The Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA) in Bac Giang province has issued Correspondence to urging businesses and cooperatives in the province to ensure labour safety and hygiene as well as prevent work accident and occupational disease in the provincial companies.

The DoLISA orders businesses to immediately manage and use the equipment and machine with strict requirement about labour safety and hygiene in line with the Circular No.36 issued on December 30, 2019 by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) and Government’s Decree No.44 on May 15, 2016.

The companies must prepare safe working and operating procedure for each equipment and machine in line with National Technical Specification on labour safety that suit to each kind of machine, equipment and safety technical data from manufacturer.

Alarm and instruction in Vietnamese and popular language of labours must be installed at the eye-catching location of the work place.

The employers must sufficiently equip their labours with personal protection mean as regulated at Article 23, Law of Labour Safety and Hygiene and MoLISA’s Circular No.04 on February 12, 2014; strictly supervise and provide enough equipment to ensure safety for the labours who work at limited spaces in line with regulation of MoLISA’s Circular No.29 on December 25, 2018.

The businesses are ordered to organize first or regular training course on time for proper cases by qualified trainer in sufficient period and content.

Meanwhile, they must inspect and evaluate the hazardous factors at the work place so as to conduct technical and technology measures to remove and minimize them.

The employers also review, create and sufficiently issue the emergency response plan at the work place, handle the incident and provide urgent rescue when detecting any risk factor or work accident.

Bac Giang: Nearly 1,300 labours employed at job transaction sessions

(BGO) – According to the Industrial Park Management Board in Bac Giang province, so far, more than 174,000 labours have worked at the provincial industrial parks (IP), up over 27,000 persons year on year.
