(BGO) – BGG Bac Giang Garment Corporation Joint Stock Company
(BGG Garment) (Bac Giang city, Bac Giang province) has exported 5 million
antibacterial face masks which are waterproof and have three layer to Japanese
market. Now, BGG Garment is producing 3 million pieces more to meet the placed
order from Japan and striving to complete before April 30.
The BGG Garment arranges 25 production lines with 450 workers to meet the delivery schedule. The face masks are produced by high quality fabric imported from Ho Chi Minh city with the antibacterial nano layer in the middle, water proof property to satisfy the standard, quality and requirement from Japanese markets.

According to Nguyen Huu Phai, Chief Executive Officer of BGG Garment said the face mask production is a new orientation when the garment and textile companies are severely affected by Covid-19 pandemic.
Though the order has low value, it is new way for BGG Garment amid the difficult situation to create stable job and maintain the salary of over 7 million VND (298 USD) per person per month for the worker.
Apart from 5 million three layer fabric face masks with antibacterial and waterproof property made to the Japanese order, BGG Garment has inked the contract to produce 3 million three layer fabric face masks with embroidered feature to Russia and Czech in May 2020.
Vietnam able to meet demand for face masks
Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh has affirmed that Vietnam, as a leading garment exporter, is able to meet demand for face masks of people in the fight against the COVID-19 outbreak.
Bac Giang to open retail store to sell antibacterial face mask from March 10

To ensure the effectiveness of Covid – 19 prevention and control in the
northern province of Bac Giang, the provincial Steering Committee (Steering
Committee) requested the districts, city and Management Board of the provincial
industrial parks to immediately review all European immigrants to Vietnam since
February 24, 2020 who are now staying in Bac Giang province to fill in medical
declaration (if not yet conducted).
Vinatext to provide 6 million face masks in February
The Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (known as Vinatex) is exerting efforts to produce around 6 million antibacterial face masks in February to meet increasing demand amid the novel coronavirus disease outbreak.
OVs in Poland present face masks to Vinh Phuc province
The State Committee
for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs joined hands with the Vietnamese Association in
Poland to present 16,000 face masks to the northern province of Vinh Phuc on
February 14, amid the acute respiratory disease caused by a novel coronavirus
(COVID-19).
