The Project was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 972/QD-TTg dated September 13, 2024 with a scale of 105.5 hectares.

It will be executed in Chau Minh and Huong Lam communes, Hiep Hoa district with a total investment capital of more than 1.2 trillion VND (51.5 million USD). The project's operation time is 50 years from the date of land allocation and land lease by the State.

As schedule, the establishment and appraisal of the detailed planning at a scale of 1/500 will be completed before February 28, 2025; compensation and site clearance work is expected to be completed before August 30, 2025; investment promotion and attraction will begin from October 1, 2025; investment in building the industrial park infrastructure will be completed before April 30, 2026.

Concluding the meeting, PPC Vice Chairman Phan The Tuan highly appreciated the initiative of Hiep Hoa district, departments, branches, and investors in implementing the project.

Agreeing with some proposals and recommendations, he requested sectors and localities to pay attention to the overall planning, evaluate the land use plan and if favorable, add more area to expand the site clearance.

The Department of Industry and Trade and Bac Giang Electricity Company were urged to finalize with the investor on the power source for the project, clearly defining the route, location, power line, capacity and administrative procedures related to planning for investment.

Meanwhile, the Department of Transport should study the connection and traffic organization from this industrial park to the existing traffic system.

The investor was recommended to be more active, seriously implement the project, ensure the set schedule and avoid delays.

Currently, the demand for investment in Bac Giang is very large, the province has focused on creating clean land funds so the infrastructure construction and completion must be accelerated to attract secondary investors soon and promote project efficiency.
