Bac Giang focuses on site clearance for Hoa Phu IPs
The two IPs cover a total area of nearly 300ha in Mai Dinh, Huong Lam, and Chau Minh communes. They are invested by Hoa Phu Invest Co., Ltd. The site clearance for the 207ha Hoa Phu Industrial Park has reached more than 97%.

For the 85ha expanded Hoa Phu Industrial Park – Phase I, the district has issued a plan to implement the 90-day peak land clearance and establish a working group in charge of the work. Up to now, 804 out of 1,164 households have been counted, reaching 69%, equivalent to an area of over 50ha.
Nguyen Van Khanh, Vice Chairman of the district People's Committee stated that currently the site clearance work in the district faces some difficulties, including a shortage of human resources and long compensation process. In addition, some households do not agree with the projects.
Grasping the real situation in the locality, Tuan emphasized that Hiep Hoa boasts advantages for industrial and service development. Therefore, the availability of premises to attract investors is of great significance in promoting socio-economic development of the province in general and of the district in particular.
Noting the district's efforts, he said that compared to the previous review, the site clearance for the Hoa Phu IP has seen changes, but many works still fail to meet the plan due to poor land management.

Facing these difficulties, he asked Hiep Hoa district to focus on communications to create consensus among the people; coordinate with specialized agencies to promptly remove obstacles, avoiding complaints and objections involving a large number of people that complicate local security and order.
For places potentially becoming “hotspots”, site clearance should be very cautious and the role of the site clearance working group needs to be promoted. The district must strive to complete all compensation work for the expanded Hoa Phu Industrial Park - Phase I in December 2022.
He noted, as the leveling materials are rare, investors need to calculate and make specific provisions. construction units must quickly deploy the projects as soon as the land is handed over. Administrative procedures should be completed soon as prescribed.
