Bac Giang holds conference on implementation of political tasks
BAC GIANG- The Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee of Bac Giang province on October 16 organized a conference on implementation of the province’s political tasks. The conference was chaired by Nguyen Van Gau, member of the PartyCentral Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee.
At the conference, permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Mai Son informed of the results gained by the province in the first 9 months as well as directions and tasks for the last months of 2024.

In the first 9 months, the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee and all-level authorities of the province have highly concentrated on leadership, direction and implementation to achieve many positive results in various fields despite facing numerous difficulties.
Particularly, the province’s economic growth rate in the first 9 months reached 13.89 percent, led the nation (maintaining the first position since 2023).
Bac Giang city met the criteria of the second-tier city while HiepHoa district and Chu town reached the criteria of the fourth-tier urban areas.
Education and training gained many achievements. Besides, the province has concentrated on arranging district and communal level administrative units.
In order to successfully fulfil the targets of the 2020-2025 tenure right in 2024, the provincial People’s Committee will focus on the 5 key tasks and solutions.

Of which, the province will direct the localities and units to review the assigned targets and duties in 2024 and realize the roadmaps until the end of this year to speed up the implementation progress, especially the targets and duties with low results.
Speaking at the conference, the provincial Party Committee Chief Nguyen Van Gau highlighted 6 key tasks to be focused on. Particularly, it is necessary to continue to remedy the aftermaths of typhoon Yagi and floods to stabilize people’s living and recover production and business activities.
He urged to well prepare for implementing the Resolution of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on adjustment to the administrative boundaries, merging Yen Dung district into Bac Giang city and establishing Chu township and new Luc Ngan district to ensure they will come into operation from January 1, 2025.
The northern province of Bac Giang will focus on Party building and preparations for holding Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 tenure in the rest of the year, heading to the 14th National Party Congress.
BAC GIANG – With the timely direction and guidance of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), the close leadership and direction of the provincial Party Committee and authorities at all levels, and the active participation of people of all strata, the VFF committees at all levels in Bac Giang province have been active and proactive, and raised their responsibilities to successfully organise and implement patriotic emulation movements and campaigns.
BAC GIANG - Implementing the coordination programme between the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) and the Lao People's Army (LPA), on August 19, a delegation of the Department of Operations under the LPA General Staff led by its Director Major General Kongthong Soukhavong paid a working visit to the Military Command of Bac Giang province.
BAC GIANG - On August 6, Nguyen Van Gau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee worked with the Standing Committee of Son Dong District Party Committee on the results of implementing political tasks from the beginning of 2024 to present as well as the preparations for local party congresses at all levels for 2025-2030 term.
BAC GIANG- Nguyen Van Gau, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee of Bac Giang province on July 31 had a working session with the Standing Board of the Party Committee of Luc Ngan district regarding implementation of its political tasks since beginning this year, results of administrative unit arrangement and preparation for the all-level party congress in Luc Ngan district Party Committee for the 2025-2030 tenure.
