According to the plan, agencies, organizations and localities in the province should promote international integration to serve the local sustainable development in the spirit of the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress and the resolutions of the Party Central Committee on international integration, Directive No. 25-CT/TW dated August 8, 2018 of the Secretariat on stepping up and raising multilateral foreign relations; continue to improve the business investment and environment, accelerate administrative reforms to boost exports and attract FDI, and make the best use of ODA and alternative sources.

The Bac Giang provincial People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 164/KH-UBND on external relations activities of agencies, organizations and localities in the province in 2020.

They should proactively and actively participate in international integration, focusing on international economic integration activities, maximize internal resources, and take advantage of external conditions during the integration process to attract investment, and increase the competitiveness of enterprises and key products, maintain economic growth, and improve the lives of local people.

At the same time, they must continue to implement the resolutions, strategies and plans of the Government and the province on international integration, maintain and expand international relations, especially with diplomatic representative agencies of countries in Vietnam, international cooperation agencies of countries and representatives of international organizations in Vietnam.

Agencies, organizations and localities will identify and establish local-level cooperation relations between Bac Giang province and some localities of Japan, the Republic of Korea and China; carry out cooperation activities effectively and sustainably.

They will actively renovate the mode of mobilizing foreign non-governmental aid. The management of foreign non-governmental organizations needs to closely follow the province's programme on strengthening cooperation and mobilizing foreign non-governmental aid in the 2020-2025 period.

In addition, they should well implement the regulation on state management of foreign information in the province, develop plans to organize festivals and cultural diplomatic events in the locality, and register to attend events introducing Vietnamese culture abroad...

Agencies, organizations and localities will diversify the types of external information, build and implement programmes and campaigns to promote the local image; while actively coordinating with central news and press agencies to promote the province.

They will closely coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in managing and guiding the activities of foreign correspondents in the province according to the Government's Decree No. 88/2012/ND-CP dated October 23, 2012 on information and press activities of foreign newspapers, representative agencies and organizations in the locality.

They need to proactively and actively use information about economic diplomacy to develop provincial policies and plans in a timely manner; while providing information for organizations and enterprises to create favorable conditions for international economic integration.
