Bac Giang improves quality of human resources for digital transformation
Developing and improving quality of the human resources is defined as one of the breakthroughs to soon bring Bac Giang into top 15 leading provinces nationwide in GRDP scale with per capita income higher than the national average.

The targets of the Scheme are all-level state agencies, public non-business units, enterprises and citizens in the province. Of which, it is aimed to develop and improve quantity and quality of the human resources for digital transformation.
High-quality human resource needs to be considered an especially important advantage of the province in investment attraction and attracting resources for development of the digital technology and the province’s digital economy.
A number of objectives are set out until 2025, particularly 100 percent of the leaders and public officials in the state agencies will be provided training and knowledge of digital transformation, digital skills and digital technology.
70 percent of the working aged citizens will have knowledge and skills to use online public services and other necessary digital services; 50 percent of the educational institutions from primary to high school levels will organize STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) or STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) activities and digital skills at school.
Besides, it is targeted to train at least 50 experts in digital transformation in the departments, sectors and localities to become the key force in leading, organizing and spreading the national digital transformation process.
By 2030, over 90 percent of the public officials are targeted to be trained with the skills to analyse and exploit digital data and technology. Over 90 percent of working aged citizens will have knowledge and skills to use online public services and other necessary digital services; over 80 percent of the educational institutions from primary to high school levels will organize STEM or STEAM activities and digital skills at school.
It is targeted to train at least 100 experts in digital transformation in the departments, sectors and localities to become the key force in leading, organizing and spreading the national digital transformation process.
The provincial People’s Committee assigned the Department of Information and Communication to collaborate with the Department of Home Affairs and related agencies and units to instruct and implement the Scheme and periodically inspect and report the results to the provincial People’s Committee.
The departments, authorities, localities, universities, colleges and vocational schools in the province are requested to implement the contents of the Scheme according to their functions and duties.
