Thus, as of July 2023, the industrial parks attracted more than 175,300 labours, up over 17,100 labours comparing to this June. The big employers included Luxshare-ICT Company Limited with nearly 8,000 labours more, New Wing Interconnect Technology Company Limited with more than 4,500 labours more, Fuyu Precision Technology Company Limited with nearly 2,000 labours more among others.

About 2,000 people stay in the companies (mostly labours stay at domitory of Foxconn Technology Group in Dinh Tram industrial park). 31 percent of labours came from other provinces and cities while local employees accounted for 69 percent. The province recruited over 6,800 foreign labours.

In July, the provincial Industrial Park Management Board licensed 363 new Work Permits; re-issued 7 Work Permit; extended 109 Work Permit for foreigners working in the industrial parks; reclaimed 199 Work Permit; allowed 82 turns of businesses with 495 positions to employ foreign labours.

The number of Vietnamese guest workers sent to work abroad under contracts reached 59,645 (including 20,585 women) by the end of May 2023, achieving 54.2% of the plan for 2023 and over 1.9 times higher than the same period last year, according to the Department of Overseas Labour under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.
