For 16 years after the establishment, the Steering Committee has launched voluntary blood donation movement in the province to attract numerous participants. On the yearly basis, more than 15,000 turns of donors give their blood so as to add more than 120,000 safe blood units.

To help reduce blood shortage in emergency and patient treatment in 2022 summer occasion, leader of the provincial Red Cross Society called on officials, public servant, staff, youth member, armed force and people at all stratas to actively join the movement.

As schedule, Summer Red Blood Campaign and Red Journey programme in 2022 will take place from May 1 to August 31 with the target to call on and receive 6,000 safe blood units.
