– Amid the impact of Covid-19 pandemic and high increase of material for
agriculture production, this year lychee crop in Bac Giang province is quite
smooth with over 40 percent of total productivity exported.
The province yields nearly 190,000 tonnes of lychee this year. As of July 11, Bac Giang sold more than 167,500 tonnes of fruits, over 68,500 of which were exported (accounting for over 40 percent) while more than 11,700 tonnes of fresh lychee were dried.

Though China restricts farm produce import from Vietnam for Covid-19 prevention and control, over 67,500 tonnes of lychee were exported to this market, followed by Cambodian market with over 600 tonnes.
Thanks to good implementation of trade promotion and product introduction, Bac Giang lychee has been exported to more countries in the European Union like France, Germany, Netherlands and some Middle Eastern markets with total export quantity of over 1,000 tonnes.
Some companies and cooperatives have bought big quantity of lychee to export to foreign markets including Toan Cau Food Import Export Joint Stock Company, Ameii Vietnam Joint Stock Company, Rong Do Trading and Service Company Limited…
This year, the fresh lychees are sold at 12 – 32,000 VND per kg depending on the type, the lychee for drying is less than 10,000 VND per kg. Good preparation helps stabilize the utility commodities of package, foam box, plastic tank, ice …and ensure source of supply.
This year the lychee is ripen later than previous ones. As schedule, the province will complete harvesting all lychees by July 22.

district, Bac Giang province. Hundreds of youth volunteers have joined hands
together with the farmers to harvest and consume the special fruit as well as

easy to be sold at high prices. Therefore, many cooperative groups, cooperatives
and households in Luc Ngan district (Bac Giang province) have actively grown organic

Developing the digital economy is one of three important goals within its policy of promoting digital transformation that Bac Giang province has been targeting. Recent efforts to boost its digital economy have proven effective, with the clearest example being the effect of digital transformation on the consumption of local lychees.
