Bac Giang is known as a locality with big agricultural potentials and the kingdom of lychee in Vietnam. The province has 29,700 hectares of lychee in 2025, accounting for 60 percent of the total fruit cultivation area, expected to gain 165,000 tonnes in productivity.

Apart from lychee, Bac Giang has hundreds of OCOP products, which have been rated from 3 stars and 56 others recognised as key, typical and potential products meeting strict standards of domestic and international markets.

Bac Giang province is committed to facilitate businesses in surveying and signing consumption contracts.

At the conference, many participants recommended a number of measures for consumption of lychee and typical products of the province

Speaking at the event, NA Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Hai stressed Bac Giang has successfully hosted lychee promotion conferences for years.

In order to continue accompanying and supporting farmers in production and consumption of lychee, typical and OCOP products, he urged Bac Giang province in collaboration with related central ministries and agencies to well implement the tasks and solutions.

He called on Chinese authorities and partners to strengthen trade connection and create good conditions for prestigious and experienced businesses and trades to purchase lychee in the province.

Besides, they were requested to minimize administrative procedures, provide green lines and give priority to help the province’s lychee to be imported to China in the fastest manner.

In addition, the NA leader requested Chinese authorities and partners to create favourable conditions for other Vietnamese farm produce and fruits to be imported to China.

He also urged domestic and foreign businesses, traders and contributors to soon cooperate to sign lychee consumption contracts, creating a linkage between lychee growers, farmers and businesses from production to sustainable consumption.

In his speech, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Viet Oanh affirmed Bac Giang province will provide sufficient and transparent information about production procedures and origin traceability, ensuring the best quality of lychee and agricultural products to meet requirements and standards of the markets.

Bac Giang province will always accompany and support businesses coming to Bac Giang to sign consumption contracts and seek investment cooperation.

On this occasion, NA Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Hai and leaders of Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces cut the ribbon to kick off the trucks carrying Bac Giang lychee for domestic consumption and export.
