Bac Giang province and 108 Central Military Hospital ink medical development cooperation programme
BAC GIANG -The provincial People’s Committee of Bac Giang province (PPC) and the 108 Central Military Hospital signed a cooperation programme on medical development on August 21 in Bac Giang city. The event was co-chaired by PPC Permanent Vice Chairman Mai Son and Lieutenant General Le Huu Song, Director of 108 Central Military Hospital.
Speaking at the event, Mai Son stressed the province has paid due attention to and allocated resources for people’s health care by building and upgrading facilities, increasing hospital bed scale as well as providing policies for training and attracting human resources.

As a result, the clinical quality at medical facilities has been maintain with application of many new technologies to meet the people’s demand.
Facing the demand for improving medical quality, the signing of the cooperation programme with the 108 Central Military Hospital will help Bac Giang health sector to approach and improve intensive expertise, especially the powerful techniques of the hospital matching the province’s demand such as vascular intervention and stroke, orthopedics, neurosurgery, endoscopic surgery and interventional endoscopy.
For effective cooperation, PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son urged the health sector to survey the demand and prepare conditions of human resources, equipment, medicine and supplies adhering to the support of the 108 Central Military Hospital to effectively receive the transferred technologies and the signed cooperation contents.
Besides, this sector was required to build the PPC’s specific plan for implementation of the cooperation programme and send qualified officials for training and receiving advanced technologies to improve quality of medical examination and treatment.
Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Le Huu Song highly appreciated the attention of the People’s Committee of Bac Giang province to the health sector. He affirmed the 108 Central Military Hospital would support training technical teams of the province’s health sector under various methods.

He stressed signing cooperation programmes in health sector will contribute to expanding relations with medical facilities to meet the people’s demand for medical treatment and health care.
The 108 Central Military Hospital is willing to send medical practitioners and doctors to help Bac Giang health sector and medical facilities to enhance qualification to better serve patients.
After discussing and reaching agreement on some contents, the People’s Committee of Bac Giang province and the 108 Central Military Hospital signed the cooperation programme in health sector.
