Bac Giang provincial leaders visit national contributors joining Dien Bien Phu Campaign
BAC GIANG - On April 16, The Standing Vice Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee (PPC) Mai Son led a delegation to visit and present gift to some families of outstanding veterans and former youth volunteers joining Dien Bien Phu Campaign in Hiep Hoa district.
The delegation visited Van Huu Nhi (born 1932) in Dinh Dong village, Thuong Thang commune, a former soldier of Division 312 participating in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign and Tran Van Hat (born 1935) in Cau Ro residential group, Bac Ly town, a former young volunteer at Company 307 of Viet Bac region.

At the destinations, the PPC Vice Chairman Mai Son expressed his deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of the soldiers and young volunteers joining the battles to protect the Fatherland, especially during the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.
He hoped that they will promote revolutionary traditions, encourage their children and grandchildren to actively work and build a cultural life. At the same time, the provincial leader ordered the Party Committee and local authorities to uphold their responsibility and well take care of both material and spiritual life for war invalids, families of martyrs and national contributors in the area.
On this occasion, the delegation presented 2 gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee to the veterans and former youth volunteers, each worth two million VND (84 USD).

At the same day, Tran Cong Thang, member of the provincial Party Committee’ Standing Committee and Chairman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee led a delegation to visit and present gifts to typical former veterans and frontline workers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign in Viet Yen township.
The delegation visited and gifted to Armed Forces Hero Chu Van Mui (born 1929) in Ha Thuong village, Thuong Lan commune; Duong Thi Luat (born 1926) in Ha Lat village, Tien Son commune, a former frontline worker.
Tran Cong Thang presented 2 gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee to veterans and frontline worker, each gift worth 2 million VND.
He thoughtfully inquired about their health and expressed his deep gratitude for their great contributions and sacrifices in the cause of struggling for national liberation.

On the afternoon of April 16, Tran Van Tuan, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and representatives of the leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Yen Dung district presented 2 gifts from the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to former veterans Ngo Quy Tinh (97 years old, 70 years old of the Party) in Ben village, Dong Viet commune and Pham Van Bac (93 years old), a former youth volunteer in Nguyen residential group, Tan An town.
At the same time, Phan The Tuan, PPC Vice Chairman visited, encouraged and gave gifts to veteran Nguyen Van Cham (born 1932) in Thoi village and former youth volunteer Nguyen Tien Hoa (born 1935) in Muc village, Duong Huu commune (Son Dong).
