The province has nearly 900,000 PC-Covid app with phone number, representing about 50 percent of total population, helping Bac Giang rank nine out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide in the installation rate of PC-Covid app with phone number, reported the Department of Information and Communication.

Viet Yen district was the top leading district with more than 146,000 PC-Covid apps with phone number, accounting for 80 percent of district population while Luc Nam had more than 86,000 PC-Covid apps with phone number, making up over 38 percent of total local resident.

To further enhance the rate of users with PC-Covid app to make health declaration and scan QR Code, the Department of Information and Communication proposed Chairperson of the People’s Committee in districts and city, especially the districts of Son Dong, Luc Nam, Yen Dung, Lang Giang, Tan Yen, Hiep Hoa and Luc Ngan to instruct local residents to install the application, regularly make health declaration via this app to protect themselves and community in line with recommendation from the Ministries of Information and Communication and Health.
