Bac Giang ranks sixth nationwide in handling administrative procedure

(BGO) – By the end of the first quarter in 2023, Bac Giang province ranked 6 out of 63 provinces and cities in the leadership, management and quality assessment index (Index) to serve people and business in handling online administrative procedure and public service. Particularly, the province topped localities nationwide in such index in March.

The Prime Minister on June 23, 2022 approved for the Index with 5 indicators of transparency; progress and results of settlement; online service supply; document digitalization and satisfaction level.

The assessment proved Bac Giang’s high results in all indicators, especially online service supply.

The rate of online document submission to National Public Service Portal reached 3,323,530 turns from the province (accounting for 57.32 percent) with 69.28 percent of administrative procedures paid online.

The above achievement was gained thanks to active participation from the party and authority at all levels and people at all strata in the province. The competent agencies enhanced to supply full online public service on National Public Service Portal; directed official to handle administrative procedures ontime and raise the number of documents settled ahead of the due date.

The People’s Committee in the district and commune also invested more in facilities, arranged receiption area with various utilities and facilitate the citizens and organizations toward their satisfaction.
