Many projects and tasks are undertaken by youth union members such as protecting the environment, helping families of national contributors and needy cases, lighting up rural roads... to join hands in completing the criteria of new style rural areas, advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas.

Dai Son is a commune with many difficulties in Son Dong district with 12 ethnic groups living together and a high poverty rate. With great determination, the government and people of Dai Son commune are united in building a commune that meets the new rural standards by 2024.

The Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and the Commune New Rural Building Management Board proactively developed plans, reviewed criteria and assigned tasks to each member in charge of specific field.

Among the 19 criteria for implementation, the Commune Youth Union was responsible for providing working days for poor and near-poor households who got supported in building and repairing new houses.

In recent times, through specific actions, Tan Yen youth have made a breakthrough in digital transformation, contributing to the successful implementation of local political tasks.

A typical example is the pilot model of "Digitalizing information on growing areas" in Phuc Hoa commune. Phuc Hoa commune is a key fruit growing area of ​​the district with the main product of early-ripening lychee. The product is exported to many countries such as the US, Australia, the EU region and China among others.

To assist farmers in standardizing the cultivation process, ensuring VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards, the District Youth Union and the Phuc Hoa Commune Youth Union coordinated with the Provincial Cooperative Union to create QR codes for production area data in 21 families together with training and guiding the way to record information and images during each cultivation period then update the data to the system.

This brings many benefits, helping crops achieve high productivity, meeting the strict standards of the international market, creating the premise for agricultural products to be officially exported.

According to Giap Xuan Canh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, the Youth Union at all levels in the province have proactively launched volunteer activities to participate in building the new rural areas, attracting a large number of participants.

To carry out projects and tasks related to the task of building new rural areas, the delegations of districts, township and city have coordinated with sponsors to conduct field surveys, develop support plans and focus on completing missing criteria.

During Youth Month and the summer volunteer campaign, many volunteer teams undertook to repair and beautify cultural houses, entertainment venues, rural roads as well as dredge canals.

Not only focusing on infrastructure, the Youth Union at all levels also coordinated to organize hundreds of training sessions, transfer technical advances and support union members to access preferential loans to develop production and business. Thanks to that, many young people have successfully started their own businesses, helping create jobs for local workers.

Since the beginning of the year, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has supported 8 villages in Yen The, Son Dong, Hiep Hoa, and Tan Yen districts to complete a number of criteria, contributing to achieving standard of advanced new style rural area and model new style rural area.

Promoting the enthusiasm and creativity of the youth, in the coming time, the Youth Union at all levels in the province will continue to propagate and raise public awareness about the goals and significance of the new rural building programme; mobilize the youth force to participate in improving rural infrastructure.

Also, the Youth Union enhances to organize training courses, transfer techniques and support union members to access preferential loans to develop the economy and start-ups in the locality, especially in the fields of high-tech agriculture and community tourism.
