The event took place at the provincial convention center, with the presence of Nguyen Van Gau, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, along with leaders of central press agencies and generations of Bac Giang journalists.

In his commemorative speech, Trinh Van Anh, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists’ Association and Editor-in-Chief of Bac Giang Newspaper, reviewed the proud history of Vietnam’s revolutionary press.

Speaking at the event, Secretary Nguyen Van Gau recognized and praised the contributions of journalists and media professionals in Bac Giang across generations.

To mark the occasion, the Vietnam Journalists’ Association awarded commemorative medals “For the cause of Vietnamese journalism” to distinguished individuals.

The Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People’s Committee, and the Fatherland Front Committee presented a ceremonial banner to the provincial Journalists’ Association, recognizing its contributions to the field.

Authorized by the President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, the Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council Nguyen Thi Huong and Chairman of the Provincial Journalists’ Association Trinh Van Anh present the "For the Cause of Vietnam Journalism" Medal to the provincial leaders.

In addition, the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee presented certificates of merit to outstanding organizations and individuals involved in journalism, public communication, professional associations, and activities commemorating the centenary of revolutionary journalism.

One of the key highlights of the celebration was the presentation of the “Than Nhan Trung Press Awards,” organized by the Bac Giang Journalists’ Association.
