Bac Giang provides convalescent care for nearly 1,800 national contributors
BAC GIANG – From June 10 to 15, the provincial Center for People with Meritorious Services in Bac Giang organized a round of health recovery services for 110 individuals, including war invalids, sick soldiers and relatives of fallen heroes from the districts of Son Dong, Luc Ngan, Luc Nam, and Chu township.
At the center, participants received medical care and physical therapy treatments such as traditional herbal foot baths, acupressure and massage.

The programme also included cultural exchanges, historical site visits, and documentary screenings aimed at preserving and honoring the nation’s revolutionary legacy.
So far this year, the center has provided health recovery services to nearly 1,800 beneficiaries across the province.
According to the approved 2025 plan, the facility will cater to 5,700 individuals, an increase of 1,900 people compared to last year. Of these, around 3,100 will receive care at the center, while the remainder will attend sessions in Quang Ninh and Thanh Hoa provinces.
The total budget for the programme exceeds 28.6 billion VND (1.25 million USD), with over 14.3 billion VND allocated by the central government. The rest is covered by provincial funding, including cash assistance, accommodation, transportation, and entrance tickets for sightseeing.
