Right after receiving the PM’s document, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee ordered to establish the Steering Committee for Constructing Nhu Nguyen bridge to promptly handle the relevant formalities.

Nhu Nguyet bridge is invested to expand from the Bac Giang provincial budget.

According to Hoang Van Thanh, Director of provincial Management Board for Rural and Traffic Investment and Construction Projects, the project will be executed with total expected cost of over 450 billion VND (19.8 million USD), 50 billion VND of which will be spent on site clearance.

The bridge and two paths are about 1,240 meter. The first end is located at Quang Chau commune (Viet Yen district) and the last end is on Dap Cau ward, Bac Ninh city (Bac Ninh province).

As design, the bridge is steel enforced and prestressed concrete with estimated length of 445.5 meters, width of 16 meters, main span over river of three continuous beams.

The project is expected to start in June 2022 and complete in March 2023 to ease the traffic congestion, restrict the traffic accidents, enhance the exploitation capacity of the expressway route, open chances for province to connect to Hanoi capital and vice versa so as to contribute to the local socio-economic growth.
